In Ground Fence Layouts

The double loop is generally used when your property s obstacles prevent the installation of a back yard single loop or hourglass layout.

In ground fence layouts.

This layout encloses either the front or back yard only using the house as part of the boundary. The different loops need to maintain a distance of at least 4 feet 6 feet preferred. Example 1 double loop with twisted wire. While very useful when necessary it is less popular than most other layouts.

Common in ground fence layouts full yard. If so the right layout for you is a double loop on an existing fence. Starting at your transmitter you run your first wire on the bottom of the fence. Always use gradual turns at the corners to produce a more consistent boundary 2b.

System is compatible with petsafe in ground fence receiver collars. Design a layout that is suitable for your yard. Then you come back to your transmitter running your wire along the top of your fence which essentially separates your wires by 4 feet coming back to your transmitter. Here is how it works.
